Postdoctoral Research Stations at Fudan University
复旦大学是我国首批设立博士后流动站的单位之一,现有哲学、中国语言文学、外国语言文学、中国史、考古学、世界史、理论经济学、应用经济学、管理科学与工程、工商管理、公共管理、政治学、新闻传播学、社会学、法学、马克思主义理论、数学、统计学、物理学、化学、生物学、生态学、力学、环境科学与工程、大气科学、电子科学与技术、集成电路科学与工程、计算机科学与技术、软件工程、网络空间安全、材料科学与工程、生物医学工程、光学工程、信息与通信工程、基础医学、公共卫生与预防医学、药学、护理学、中西医结合、临床医学等40个一级学科博士后科研流动站。为促进学科交叉、培育复合型人才,学校还搭建了28个博士后工作平台。
学校始终高度重视博士后队伍建设,大力实施“超级博士后”制度,完善管理办法、提高薪酬待遇、强化服务保障,支持博士后全身心投入科研工作,产出高质量科研成果。自1985年招收了中国博士后制度创建后的全国第一位博士后,至2024年底,学校已累计招收博士后近万名,在站博士后2000余名,出站博士后中已涌现出包括两名院士在内的一大批学科领军人才和各行各业的栋梁之才。
良好的科研平台。学校建有上海数学中心、上海国家应用数学中心,现有全国重点实验室13个(8个为合作建设),国家工程实验室1个,国家野外科学观测研究站1个,国家临床医学研究中心2个,国家制造业创新中心1个,国家产教融合创新平台3个,国家高端智库1个,首批国家区域国别研究中心1个,教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地10个,其他各类省部级基地平台200余个。
丰富的科研资源。复旦大学图书馆现有文科馆、理科馆、医科馆、江湾馆(李兆基图书馆)、古籍部(国家古籍重点保护单位)、张江服务点。截至2024年底,馆藏纸本文献资源约623.04万册(含纸本图书和期刊合订本),其中中文493.76万册(含线装古籍约37万册,包括善本6万册,民国时期图书10万册),外文129.28万册,订购中外文数据库679个,自建数据库14个。
具有竞争力的福利待遇。学校为博士后的科研和生活创造良好条件,全职博士后岗位的年薪不低于18-20万元,“超级博士后”岗位年薪不低于23-50万元。学校为博士后缴纳社会保险及公积金、提供博士后公寓、协助办理上海市户口、协助博士后子女入学等,博士后享受其他教职工同等福利。
丰富的博士后培养举措。学校和各站点定期举办基金申报培训、博士后学术论坛,促进多学科博士后的交流合作。学校自2018年起举办博士后创新创业大赛品牌活动,并已连续成功举办七届,激发博士后创新创业活力,发掘、培育、激励产业人才。学校还积极搭建博士后校友桥梁,为博士后研究实践提供支持。积极拓宽职业发展路径,将博士后作为学校教师队伍和其他专业技术队伍的重要来源之一。

Postdoctoral Research Stations at Fudan University
Fudan University is one of the earliest institutions in China to establish postdoctoral research stations. It currently operates postdoctoral research stations under 40 first-level disciplines, including Philosophy, Chinese Language and Literature, Foreign Language and Literature, Chinese History, Archaeology, World History, Theoretical Economics, Applied Economics, Management Science and Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration, Political Science, Journalism and Communication, Sociology, Law, Marxist Theory, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Ecology, Mechanics, Environmental Science and Engineering, Atmospheric Sciences, Electronic Science and Technology, Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Materials Science and Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Optical Sciences, Information and Communication Engineering, Basic Medical Sciences, Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, and Clinical Medicine. To further promote interdisciplinary collaboration and nurture cross-disciplinary talents, the university has also established 28 postdoctoral working platforms.
Fudan University is committed to establishing a robust community of postdoctoral fellows. Through initiatives, including the Super Postdoctoral program, improved management systems, competitive compensation packages and enhanced support services, the university ensures that postdoctoral fellows can fully engage in high-quality research. Since having the first postdoctoral researcher in China in 1985, Fudan has recruited nearly 10,000 postdoctoral fellows, with over 2,000 at work by the end of 2024. Among its postdoctoral alumni, many have become leading figures in their disciplines, two of which have been titled academicians.
High-quality research platforms. Fudan University is home to the Shanghai Center for Mathematical Sciences and the National Center for Applied Mathematics (Shanghai). It currently hosts 13 National Key Laboratories (8 of which are co-built), 1 National Engineering Laboratory, 1 National Observation and Research Station, 2 National Clinical Research Centers, 1 National Manufacturing Innovation Center, 3 National Platforms for Industry-Education Integration Innovation, 1 National Top Think Tank, the first-batch Research Center for International and Regional Studies, 10 Key Research Institutes of Humanities and Social Sciences supported by the Ministry of Education, and over 200 other provincial and ministerial institutes and platforms.
Abundant Research Resources. The university’s library system comprises the Arts & Humanities Library, Science Library, Medical Science Library, Jiangwan (Lee Shau-kee) Library, Department of Ancient Books (the National Key Site for Ancient Book Preservation) and Zhangjiang Service Site. By the end of 2024, the library’s collection comprised 6.23 million volumes of books and bound periodicals, including 4.93 million volumes in Chinese. Among the Chinese volumes, 370,000 are traditional thread-bound books, with 60,000 rare editions and 100,000 originating from the Republic of China period. The collection also included 1.29 million volumes in foreign languages. The libraries have subscribed to 679 databases and have established 14 databases.
Competitive compensation and benefits. The university offers a competitive compensation package and a supportive living environment for postdoctoral fellows, including, annual salaries between ¥180,000–¥200,000 for full-time postdoctoral positions, ¥230,000–¥500,000 for Super Postdoctoral positions; coverage of social insurance and housing fund; provision of postdoctoral apartments; support for Shanghai household (Hukou) registration; support for children’s school enrolment; equal access to the benefits provided to other faculty members.
Professional Development Initiatives. Academic forums, grant application workshops and interdisciplinary collaboration initiatives are regularly organized. Since 2018, the university has hosted the Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, aiming to develop postdoctoral fellows' creativity and entrepreneurship as well as cultivate industry-leading talents. The university also offers networking opportunities with alumni and institutional support for research and career advancement. The university creates diverse career pathways for postdoctoral researchers, considering them as an important source of the university’s talent pool.
