School of Data Science Fudan University was founded on October 8th, 2015. It is a significant strategic step taken by the university in its course of constructing a world-class university and developing first-class disciplines in the past century, targeting at the cutting edge of international science and technology, focusing on national innovation and development, and pushing forward the development of disciplines. The construction of the discipline system also gains support from other cross disciplines of the university, such as Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computational Mathematics, Computer Science and Technology, Economics, Finance, Management Science, Medicine, Life Sciences and Engineering.
